Amber Cowburn
Amber is an award-winning expert in workplace wellbeing and mental health awareness, and the Head of Global Wellbeing for the British Council. She is a two-time TEDx speaker, a recipient of multiple awards including accolades by the Royal Family, the UK Government and Rotary International, and has addressed prestigious organisations such as Cambridge University, UNICEF and global summits for mental health awareness. Her career so far has included training 3000+ businesspeople globally, managing a government campaign for mental health, and rolling out an innovative mental health strategy for 35,000 students.
Amber is delighted to have recently joined the British Council, to oversee their global wellbeing strategy. With a headcount of 9000+ employees, the British Council is a truly global organisation, working with people in over 200 countries and territories, with a presence on the ground in 100+ countries.
