Mark has had a long career with the retailer Wickes and has worked as a leader in stores, their support centre and currently as a Programme Manager in Distribution.  

He became Chair of the Wickes Wellbeing Committee in 2018 and since then has been instrumental in raising the profile of Wellbeing in their Workplace by developing and leading their annual strategy. Since then, Wickes has trained over 520 Mental Health First Aiders, has signed up to the Mind ‘Mental Health at Work Commitment’, has undertaken the Mind ‘Workplace Wellbeing Index 2021/22’ receiving a Silver Award as an organisation achieving significant impact in this space.

As well as internal recognition Mark was recently shortlisted for the ‘Breaking the Silence’ award at the Great British Workplace Wellbeing Awards and the Wickes Committee were also shortlisted for the ‘Team of the Year’.
